Kpop on the brain | Taemin performances, upcoming solo mini-album, ‘Advice’
So my interests are wide and varied and yes they include K-POP, which for me at the moment means Taemin.
This little bundle of joy is just killing it in his solo career at the moment and he is at the top of his game.
I was able to catch his recent first live stream solo concert, N.G.D.A (named after his third full-length album Never Gonna Dance Again, released last year), and oh my, he just keeps getting better and better and reinventing himself.
Not bad for the youngest member of SHINee!
Taemin debuted as part of SHINee back in 2008 and had his solo debut in 2014. He is also a member of SM’s supergroup SuperM, which is made up of members from existing groups EXO (Baekhyun and Kai), SHINee (Taemin), and NCT.
I am currently drinking in all the content of this amazing performer (his DANCING ugh it's magic) I can, however, because just a little while ago he announced he will be going in for his mandatory military enlistment, which means we won't be seeing Taemin for quite some time. :(
But true to form, Taemin is putting a positive spin on the situation and is staying super busy until he leaves May 31st for his service.
In addition to the live show I watched, he had a TikTok live show on the 6th, and will be releasing his latest EP Advice, which is one of the most highly anticipated titles in the K-pop space so far this year.
I know I am going to be starved for Taemin content in the long absence, but I also know that nothing can keep this little ball of energy down for long.
You can do it, Taemin! We are all looking forward to seeing what you come up with when you return.
(And your adorable cat Kkoongie will wait for you too!)
