If you have been following politics in American in any way, shape, or form this year in particular, you will have heard about QAnon, the far-right conspiracy theory which has led followers of said hair-brained theory to perpetrate violent crimes.

I was delighted to see, then, today, via Insider's article here, that Etsy (a favorite platform and affiliate of mine), has announced a ban on all items related to QAnon.

"Our seller policies prohibit items that promote hate, incite violence, or promote or endorse harmful misinformation. In accordance with these policies, we are removing items related to 'QAnon' from our marketplace," an Etsy spokesperson told Insider in a statement Wednesday.

It won't be the first time that Etsy has taken a stand against hateful rhetoric and misinformation, such as when they cracked down on coronavirus related merchandise, and hopefully it will not be the last.

Thank you, Etsy. I am proud to be an affiliate of yours.
