Vitamix | Tropical Matcha Pitaya Bowl Recipe
We are back for Vitamix Sundays with a smoothie bowl recipe!
I had a few pitaya packs lying around in my freezer and decided to use them this weekend; the weather is getting hot here in Vegas and a refreshing, energizing smoothie bowl was a delicious breakfast option.
Equipment
Vitamix Blending Bowl (compatible with A3500 series)
Ingredients
1/2 cup almond milk
1 cup vanilla plant-based yogurt
1 cup ice
1 1/2 packs pitaya packs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tbsp chia seeds (for garnish)
1 sliced banana (for garnish)
1 cup granola (for garnish)
Instructions
Add wet ingredients to larger Vitamix A3500 Series container
Add dry ingredients
Add frozen ingredients (minus 1/2 pitaya pack to be added later)
Press "smoothie' feature button
Press "start"
Wait until finished, then transfer a small portion of mixture into Vitamix blending cup
Add 1/2 pitaya pack to blending cup mixture
Place blending cup onto its Vitamix base and repeat "smoothie" and "start" feature steps
Transfer mixture to bowl and top with garnish
