Product Review | HANAH
Of course I’m obsessed with HANAH…a fellow palindrome and an Ayurvedic supplement brand that makes small, fresh batches of their products based on local harvests and what is available for that season?
What’s not to love?
It’s been almost a month since I started using HANAH’s Coffee Boost and taking their Turmeric regularly (mostly when I am sore after my workouts to help with the inflammation), and I am happy to report that I have been seeing positive results.
Turmeric: Add this versatile herb and all its physical and mental benefits to your natural medicine cabinet. HANAH harvests at peak potency then blends with black pepper for optimal absorption by the body.

Full disclosure - I try a lot of energy boosting supplements.
My adrenal glands probably hate me from the general amount of stimulants I am constantly bombarding them with.
All that aside, I had a pleasant experience with HANAH’s Coffee Boost.
I owe said pleasant experience (most likely) to the nootropic blend of ashwagandha, bacopa monnieri, and mucuna pruriens. (Benefits from HANAH's website listed below, along with their lovely pictures of the ingredients!)
Ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogenic herb:
Improves brain and memory function
Enhances cardiovascular performance
Reduces stress and anxiety
Bacopa monnieri is renowned as a brain tonic:
Supports memory, mental clarity and mood
Improves circulation
Contributes to overall brain health
Mucuna pruriens is also known as the dopamine bean:
A natural source of L-DopaNourishes the nervous systemLower stress
Despite the name ‘Coffee Boost’, the ingredients above are the only three ingredients apart from the powdered coconut milk added along with the adaptogenic herbs, so no coffee; hence the ‘boost’.
This product is meant to be added to your coffee in order to manage the spike and crash associated with caffeine, improve your focus and concentration, and soothe your nervous system.
Funny enough, I’m not a big coffee drinker but I do drink a quick Vega Protein & Energy shake in the morning, so I added a teaspoon of HANAH’s Coffee Boost to that, along with my usual Califia Farms Coconut Almond Milk.
Voila! A magic combination. This is totally my new morning staple, and I feel clear and focused upon starting my day.
HANAH was also kind enough to send me their HANAH ONE daily superfood, before knowing that I don’t partake in Ghee.
Fortunately it did not go to waste, however, as my husband (funny enough who is from South India, near where the idea for this brand was formed) does.
So, I have been adding it to the shakes that I make him, and he has been reaping the benefits of the 30 natural wild-harvested herbs and adaptogens, including turmeric, ashwagandha, amalaki and shatavari, with artisanal ghee, sesame oil and Keralan mountain honey.
Detailed Ingredients: Honey, Sesame oil, Ghee, Turmeric, Ashwagandha, Gotu Kola, Chebulic myrobalan, Amalaki, Ceylon Cinnamon , Butterfly pea, Cyperus, Cardamom, Licorice, Saffron, Long pepper, Aerva Lanata, Bael Tree, Shatavari, Boerhavia, Ivy gourd, Sarivan, Desmostachya, Malay Bush Beech, Oroxylum, Arani, Castor, Policosanol, Arrow-leaf Sida, Yellow-fruit nightshade, Tribulus Terrestris, Mung Bean, Holostemma, Aerva lanata, Sesame oil, Cyperus and sugar cane.
I initially stumbled upon HANAH in search of a more potent strain of Cordyceps. Happily, I found a brand of varied products (they even have Shilajit!) which provide a variety of benefits for myself and my family, that I even share a name with.
Totally meant to be. :)
