When it comes to at-home microcurrent devices, the NuFACE® brand has garnered quite the buzz. (See what I did there?)
As someone who is deeply invested in luxurious and effective skincare solutions, I was delighted to be able to try out the NuFACE® MINI+ Starter Kit and give you all my honest opinion.
First Impressions:
The NuFACE® MINI+ is sleek, compact, and lightweight, making it a perfect travel companion and small enough to keep in my bedside table drawer until I need it.

The device itself feels sturdy and well-made, with a solid design that fits comfortably in my hand. The ‘Sandy Rose’ shade of the device is also very aesthetically pleasing! (You all know I love a soft pink.)
Usage Experience:
Using the NuFACE® MINI+ is pretty straightforward; there is plenty of helpful literature included AND an app with guided treatments just in case you do get lost.
After cleansing your face, you apply the gel primer and glide the device over your skin in upward motions. The device beeps every five seconds to prompt you to move to a new area. The microcurrent sensation is mild and tingles a bit, but it’s not uncomfortable.
I prefer to use the device when I’m watching TV with the hubby in bed, because 5 minutes (the recommended treatment time) can be a bit tedious if you’re just standing at your sink the entire time.
Also if you do use the guided treatments on the app, they can be longer than 5 minutes, so you’ll want to be somewhere comfy when you’re indulging in those.
Results:
After a few weeks of consistent use (PS: the trick is consistency!! Don’t expect instant results after using the device for only two days, for example), I noticed a visible lift in my cheeks and jawline.
My skin appeared more toned and firm, with a noticeable reduction in fine lines around my mouth. It’s not a dramatic facelift, but I definitely saw a subtle, yet appreciated enhancement.
Along with the Aqua Gel and Silk Créme, I spritz on some of the Supercharged IonPlex® Facial Mist for extra hydration benefits.
Pros:
Compact and travel-friendly
Easy to use with clear instructions
Noticeable lifting and toning effects
Rechargeable with a decent battery life
Pretty quiet as far as device beeps go!
Cons:
The gel primer needs frequent reapplication, which can be a bit tedious
Results require consistent use and are not permanent to my knowledge
The device isn’t the most affordable option on the market
Verdict:
The NuFACE® MINI+ Starter Kit is a solid investment for those seeking a non-invasive, at-home solution for lifting and toning the skin.
While it requires dedication and consistency, the results are worth it if you’re looking for a subtle yet noticeable improvement in your skin’s firmness and contour.
